Cisco Learning Credit Redemption Process

STEP 1: IDENTIFY THE TRAINING NEED AND AN APPROPRIATE VENDOR

Training needs may be identified by team captains or an established training plan. Once a specific training need is identified, the appropriate training session should be chosen.

To find a vendor or a course, visit www.cisco.com/go/training. Next, click on Learning Credit Program from the menu at the left side of the page. Finally, click on the Learning Locator Link on the right side of the page. From here you may search for classes or vendors by any of several factors including location, course name, and date offered. You can also view a complete list of courses offered by all Cisco Learning Partners.

If an appropriate course cannot be found among the Cisco Training Partner offerings, you may contact Patricia Williams at (562) 951-4265 in Technology Infrastructure Initiatives (TII). Patricia has a list of supplemental vendors and may be able to find an appropriate course or design a custom course to fit your needs.

 

STEP 2: CONFIRM THE TRAINING COST AND ACCOUNT BALANCE

To successfully register for a training course your account must have enough Cisco Learning Credits. You can access your account balance at www.cisco.com/go/training. Click on the Learning Credit Program link from the menu at the left side of the page. Next, click on the Learning Credit Management Tool link from the menu at the left. Use the Cisco Connection Online (CCO) username and password provided by Patricia or your Team Captain to access your account. Make sure your account balance is sufficient to cover the desired training course(s).

Note that the Credits needed to register for each course vary. If your account balance is insufficient for the course(s), you can contact Patricia Williams at (562) 951-4265 and request more credits to cover your needs.

 

STEP 3: REGISTER FOR THE COURSE(S) WITH THE VENDOR

Register for the appropriate course by calling the vendor and providing your campus sales order number. The vendor will complete the registration. Once registration is complete, an email will be sent to both the Team Captain and Patricia Williams confirming that the credits have been debited from the account. The email will also show the new account balance.
